What we process and why

Your media (uploaded files and media fetched from links you paste) is used only to create your transcript. Unpaid uploads are deleted after 24 hours at the latest. After payment, the media is deleted as soon as your transcript is ready (or after 7 days if processing could not be completed).

Your transcript is stored for 30 days (90 days if saved to an account) and is available only at its private link and in your account, then deleted.

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe sends us your email address, country and payment status so we can deliver your transcript, send a receipt link and handle refunds.

Email: if you ask us to notify you, or pay through Stripe, we use that address to send the link to your transcript and messages about that order (for example a refund). We do not send marketing email.

Accounts are optional and contain only your email address and the transcripts you save.

Analytics: we count page views and steps of the ordering process with a random identifier cookie and the referring site (for example "chatgpt.com"). We do not store your IP address in our analytics; a daily-rotating hash is used to prevent abuse.

Processors

Speech recognition and translation are performed by AI model providers through OpenRouter, routed only to providers that do not retain or train on your data. Other processors: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (transactional email), Cloudflare (network and security) and our hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your transcript, account or data at any time by emailing [email protected] with the private link or your email address. You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, and to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
