Terms of Service

Last updated 27 October 2026. These terms are between you and APPFACT STUDIO LTD ("we"), operator of OneDollarTranscript.

The service

You upload an audio or video file or submit a link to media you are entitled to use. We check the media, show its length and price, and after payment produce an automatic transcript (and, if you choose, an automatic translation). Transcripts are generated by AI and may contain errors; check them before relying on them for legal, medical or other important purposes.

Prices and payment

Each file is a separate one-time purchase: $1 up to 60 minutes and $3 up to 10 hours, plus local tax where it applies. The price is based on the length measured by our server and shown before payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Refunds

If we cannot produce your transcript after retrying, we refund you in full automatically. If you are unhappy with a transcript, contact us within 14 days at [email protected] with your private link. Because the service is delivered immediately at your request, the statutory cancellation right for digital content ends once processing has started, but this does not affect our refund promise above or your other legal rights.

Your content

You keep all rights to your media and transcripts. You confirm you have the right to process the media you submit. We use it only to provide the service and delete it as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit unlawful content or media you are not allowed to copy.

Acceptable use

No automated or abusive use, no attempts to access other people's transcripts, no testing of payment cards. We may block abuse and refuse orders.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
