Transcribe a lecture or class recording

OneDollarTranscript transcribes recorded lectures, seminars and classes: upload the recording or paste a YouTube link to one, pay once ($1 up to 60 minutes, $3 up to 10 hours) and get the full transcript to study from, search and quote. A whole day of lectures up to 10 hours is one file. No account.

$1 up to 60 minutes $3 up to 10 hours TXT + SRT No signup

YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Vimeo, SoundCloud, Dailymotion, Loom, or a direct link to an audio/video file.

Study from text

Searching a transcript is faster than scrubbing through a recording. Use the timestamps to jump back to an explanation you want to hear again, or paste the text into your notes.

Lectures in another language

International students can add a translation into their own language and read both versions side by side; the translated SRT also works as subtitles for the lecture video.

Recording tips

Sit near the speaker or put the phone near the lectern. One clear voice and little background noise give the best results; questions from the audience far from the microphone are harder to catch.

What you get

A clean transcript and a subtitle file.

Every order includes both files. Download them as soon as the transcript is ready.
